My tenure as an Information Security/System Engineer has equipped me with valuable knowledge and skills, which I have honed over time, and continue to refine, given the dynamic nature of the industry.

Currently, I am proud to serve as a Professional Services Consultant at Proofpoint, a world-renowned Security company, where my focus is on the critical issue of Email Fraud Defense. In this role, I am dedicated to helping our clients secure their business email, particularly in light of the ever-evolving threat landscape.

Working at Proofpoint as a Professional Services Consultant. I focus on BEC (Business Email Compromise), Email Security and DMARC. My goal is to help guide organisations on their DMARC journey to authenticate their email across all environments, whether on prem, cloud or 3rd party systems in order to be able to implement a policy of p=reject.

DMARC is an open email authentication protocol that provides domain-level protection of the email channel. DMARC authentication detects and prevents email spoofing techniques used in phishing, business email compromise (BEC) and other email-based attacks.

I am a family man and I live in Brisbane, Australia with my wife and 2 children. My wife and I moved to Brisbane in late 2010 having lived and worked in London for a number of years.

I love all things technology and have a particular interest in Email Security having specialised in the field for the past 5 years.
